The stereo zoom body has click stops (detent) at 6 positions: 0.75, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0.
Available focus adjustment offers surprisingly long travel of 125 mm or close to 5”. That will accomodate extremely large gem stones. Also, it allows to use auxiliary lenses. Sometimes their extra magnification is needed to locate and evaluate very small inclusions for grading purposes.
A plastic spacer between zoom body and focus block makes for smooth turning of the body if needed. Likewise the turntable under the stand allows easy rotation of the whole scope.
Protective glass is standard on both zoom channels.
